The Slavín cemetery inside holds figures such as Dvořák, Smetana, Mucha, and Karel Čapek — for locals this is not a tourist spot but a national pantheon. The 11th-century St. Martin Rotunda is one of the city's oldest surviving structures. The walk atop the walls offers uncrowded views of the Vltava and the city.
